  She is cordial when she speaks, but often comes off as more cold, in a hurry, and terse. I went to River District Women's Health to see Dr. Spisak but never got to meet her (currently in the middle of moving across the state and looking for someone else), which I find ridiculous. I am in a high-risk pregnancy and need someone who knows what they're doing, and someone who can prescribe medications I need without needed an OK from a higher-up. I am also a sufferer of PTSD, a survivor of two violent rapes, and have trouble seeking gynecological care. (The only reason I went at all was for the health of my baby.) Hamilton was alright with her bedside manner. Could've been a little bit sweeter, but I suppose she did her best. I just wasn't all that impressed. The staff there are all wonderful, but if you have a pressing question or two, do not expect a quick answer from the doctor or CNM directly. Instead, call them or go to the nearest ER if you feel it's an emergency. They don't even have an after hours number you can call like many good OBs do. I don't recommend River District or their providers to anyone, especially to people in high-risk pregnancies. Find a good hospital, a good MFM/perinatologist, and try to see the doc(s) affiliated with them instead.
